AH&B College needed to boost enrolment numbers and compete with TAFE NSW whilst showcasing what made their Bondi-based programmes unique.
AH&B College is Sydney's premier vocational training provider, specialising in hairdressing, barbering, and hands-on student salon experience in Bondi. When they partnered with The Digital Hub, they were facing a common challenge for private training providers: how do you compete with government-subsidised institutions like TAFE NSW?
The college had another problem. Their website wasn't doing them any favours. UX issues were frustrating potential students, and the content failed to showcase the vibrant student community and real-world salon experience that set AH&B apart.
For a college that primarily attracts international students and those transferring partial degrees to work in Australia, visibility in search results wasn't just about rankings. It was about reaching people at a crucial decision point in their career journey.
We started by addressing the fundamentals. The website needed to work properly before we could expect it to convert. Alongside technical improvements, we developed a content strategy that actually reflected what makes AH&B College special - the student experience, the Bondi location, and the practical training that gets graduates job-ready.

In six months, AH&B College transformed from being buried in search results to dominating rankings for their key courses. More importantly, they're now attracting over 40 additional qualified enquiries every month from students genuinely interested in their vocational programmes. That's students who found them naturally, compared them against competitors (including TAFE), and still chose to enquire.
